It would be very useful when users can add photo's using the camera on their mobile device.

Hi Ben! I see your idea (I-335). The mobile team is currently working on a feature that will allow you too call up the camera from an existing document/form. You can also take photos on the fly when saving the new document. This should cover your use case! Release will be Q1 2019.

Hello all! I just created an idea for this exact requirement! the work around doesn't offer the functionality needed for true mobile data capture.  @Teresa, is there any update to when this may happen?

    Hello Teresa,

One important customer (Brantner) is asking when camera support will be included? They mean `the real one`, so not saving existing photos to TF but adding pictures on the fly.

    Thanks, Markus

Hi Melvin, I wanted to let you know that with the launch of Therefore Go version 1.2.0 (25 April 2018), you can save documents to Therefore Go from your phone. This includes photos as well. Although this is not a full camera integration yet, hopefully it can help as a workaround in the mean time.

    How this could look like?

You mean an implementation like in WhatsApp, you click on the camera button, the camera opens and after taking a picture it will be saved into a Therefore document automatically?

Or is the second option of opening the mobile device's camera app a better approach? In this case the camera app opens and after taking a picture you share the picture with Therefore?
